Chapter 33

Arshi descended from chairs hand in hand. All the members turned their faces to look at the couple coming down. Parents felt extremely happy to see both of them happy and pairing up so well. Mothers had tears of joy in their eyes.

Khushi came in and went towards Ranvir and Akanksha. She touched their feet to seek blessings and then akanksha hugged her tightly.

Akanksha: beta you are looking like an angel.

Khushi smiled at this motherly bond she had.

Arnav and Khushi sat on the sofa now together.

All the family members settled themselves and started talking. While all were talking two couples were lost in themselves Arshi and Roniee. Yes they were stealing glances at each other. Sometimes they do have romantic eyelock but soon came out of trance.

Garima: Akanksha ji lets start with the ceremony.

Akansha: sure lets start with it. With this she got up and bought the thall near khushi. Annie went in to hold the thaal for her. She took out a necklace box and opened it and there comes a diamond necklace studded with emeralds and exactly going with her dress. She put the necklace around her neck. Next she asked Ranvir and gift the bangles to Khushi. Ranvie gifted the bangles to her and asked her to take care of them as these are their family bangles and all the bahu are wearing these on their day of marriage.

Khushi nodded in affirmation an thanked them.

Annie came in now and gifted Khushi a pair of solitaire studded earings or can say more likely studs.

Akanksha than handed khushi a thaall with all the sarees and suites as a gift for her shagun. Khushi then touched her feet and in return Akanksha very lovingly kissed on her forhead.

Soon they were finished with the rituals and everyone get started with their chit chat again.

After some time every decided to go for the dinner as it was all arranged by servants. They headed towards the dining hall.

Arnav and khushi sat next to each other and as always Arnav just took one plate fpr both of them. Servants served and everyone started with the starters.

Arnav raised his spoon towards khushi to feed her.

Khushi is all shocked to see what is just happening.

Khushi: Arnavji.??

Arnav: excuseme? Do u still want to have sweet punishment??

Khushi: sorry.. Arnav what are u doing?

Arnav: khushi, open ur mouth....

Khushi: but....

Before anything khushi can say Arnav put his spoon of food in her mouth.

Khushi felt alot more shy. Eating together is ok but feeding each other infront of family she never expected and that too before family.

Arnav is now keenly waiting for khushi to fee him but khushi being khushi is so shy..

Arnav again feed khushi in hope that she wud feed him. But again she dnt..

Arnav: khushi I am also hungry...

Khushi looked at him with questioning look.

Arnav: aren't u going to feed me?

Khushi: Arnav, we are not alone. We are with family.

Arnav: so??

Khushi: so it doesn't look good.

Arnav: khushi y does it matter. We are a couple now. U r my fiance..

Khushi: no Arnav I am not doing this infront of family.

Arnav: its okk doll.. Plzz...

Khushi: plzzz arnav no...

Arnav: khushi...( a little stern and angry tone)

Khushi: plzz Arnav it doesn't look good.

Arnav: fine okk...

He just had 2-3 morsels of food and immediately stood up.

Arnav: sorry.. I have to make an important phone call. You all continue with dinner.

Khushi looked towards him shockingly as he dnt even had anything.

Khushi: but....

Before she cud say anything he was already gone to the backyard. Khushi again looked towards all the family members.

Akanksha: its okk.. Let us resume with our food. He wud be back soon.

And everybody started having their food.

Khushi also dnt had anythng after Arnav left. It was not unaware to her that Arnav is angry with him and he left the food because of that.

She was in deep thoughts. There were two more people on table that were deep in their thoughts. Yes its Akanksha and Payal who had also witnessed the small fight between the couple but remained numb not to disclose anything infront of all.

Everyone finished with their dinner. They all enjoyed their food except Arshi. Khushi dnt even touched the food after Arnav left. Her face all of sudden changed to gloomy...

They all descended to sitting area and started chit chatting. Khushi wants to go to Arnav but how can she leave all family members. Soon Arnav came in.

Arnav: Ronit can I use ur laptop for some time. I dnt have mine in car.

Ronit: umm jiju it is with Annie in her room. Well u can use Khushi's..

Arnav looked towards khushi. Khushi felt happy that Arnav would talk to her but but...

Arnav: ummm its ok.. I wud just manage without it. With this he again went to backyard.

Khushi didn't expected this at all. Now she is on the brink of crying.

Khushi:( thinking) what did I do. Arnav is so angry with me. How can u hurt him khushi.

Her tears were just making their way out of her eyes but how can she cry infront of family? She excused herself and went to her room.

As soon as she entered the room her tears flow out of the eyes on her rosy cheeks and she felt so guilty of hurting Arnav. She was crying her out silently when her room door open and payal came in. Khushi quickly wiped her tears.

Khushi: jiji....

Payal: khushi... Wat happen? Why r u crying??

Khushi: nthng jiju. Its just eye liner..

Payal: dnt lie to me... Arnav ji is angry with u rgt?

Khushi unable to lie more.

Payal looked at her cute little sister.

Payal: come sit here. They both sat at the couch.

Payal: khushi u knw I and akash also fought in start because of all these. But khushi try to understand. You and Arnavji are couple now so there is no harm if you both are feeding each other or spending some quality time togther. Believe me khushi our families dnt have any issues like this.

Khushi: but jiji.

Payal: no but khushi. You shud feed Arnavji. U did a mistake. U shud say sorry.

Khushi: okk jiji I will.

Payal: thats like my good girl.okk now fresh up and come down.

Payal went leaving khushi alone for some time in room.

Khushi: ( thinking) I did wrong. Arnav love me so much. He is expecting the same from me. I am so dumb to hurt him.

She freshened up and went down and to her surprise Arnav was already sitting with all. She went and sat near Arnav but her badluck Arnav just saw her once descending from stairs and after tht he dnt even care to look at her. Khushi is sad because of his behavior. She realized tht no doubt what ever the time is but she cn't bear her Arnav being angry with her...

Arnav suddenly got up and looked towards their parents siting together.

Arnav: Can I and khushi go for a drive for some time. I need to talk to her about something.

Khushi is all nervous now. Arnav is already angry with her and now this drive.

The parents nodded in affirmation. Arnav turned towards khushi.

Arnav: I am waiting for u in car.

Khushi nodded. She is fearing for the storm that is coming. She knew Arnav is going to scold her alot today. She nervously got up and signalled her parents and followed Arnav..
