Chapter 2

Mumbai, 6:30 pm.

Arnav came from washroom after freshing up and was sitting on couch in his room working on laptop when anaya enters in his room with their coffee. It was the routine when arnav returns from office, anaya would go to his room with coffe and both siblings would spent time together chatting about their day and have some time filled with fun and laughter. But today anaya was little tensed and nervous as she knows arnav would be angry with her after discussing about her admission in vfs but Anaya was determined to convince him and she knows after all pampering he would say yes as always.

Anaya- hello bhai how are you? How was your day.

Arnav- hey princess. Come grab a seat.

Anaya- busy with some importany work.??

Arnav- umm no.. Just checking mails. Well say. Wats new with you?

Anaya- umm not really.

There was an awkward silence in the room. Arnav was shocked to see anaya sitting quiet and drinking coffee well in normal conditions she used to be chirping all the while and not stop even for a second. But today there was no laughter, no gosips of anaya and even no shoping list from her. Finally arnav broke the silence.

Arnav- princess whats bothering you.

Anaya knew that her brother had caught her and now there is no way to escape and she has to finally talk to him.

Anaya- bhai if i ask you smthng, will u fulfil my wish?

Arnav cups the anaya's face. Princess i am always there to fulfil all ur wishes. Tell me what you want.

Anaya- bhai please dont get angry on me.

Arnav- okk don't worry tell me. Did u again shopped alot and exceeded ur credit limit??

Anaya- no bhai its not that. Bhai you know na that i want to be a director. So for that i want to go to vancouver to study in vancouver film school for 2 years. Its a 2 year course and i like the curriculum of vfs the most.. Please bhai don't say no for it.. Please allow me to go.

Arnav was quiet for a moment and didn't know what to say. Finally he spoke. But princess for doing your course you don't need to go to canada. You can do it here in Mumbai too.

Anaya- bhai i know that but i like the curriculum of vfs and moreover vancouver is my favorite city. I like its weather alot.. Please bhai please for my sake.

Arnav- princess u knw tht i can't stay away from you for one day even and you are talking about going for 2 years.

Anaya- bhai i love u alot and it wud be difficult for me too but trust me i knw you wud surely be cmng to me every month or so to meet me. Please bhai...

Arnav- is it that necessary? Can't u choose of some other alternative or get some otheralternative.

Anaya- bhai please try to understand. I like the curriculum of vfs. But you know very well that you always comes first for me. If you won't agree i will not go . Ur decision is final. But its my wish. Please....

After thinking for a while arnav holds annie by shoulder and asked her to give him some time to think about it. Anaya is very happy that atleast he said that he would think about this. She knew it that arnav would always fulfil all her wishes.. She hugged arnav and happily exited the room leaving tensed and gloomy brother in the room.

Arnav would bluntly say no for this but this time it was different. He don't know why he was thinking about sending annie away from him. He was confused about hos feelings. It was different but he don't know why. Destiny had something very special stored in for him.

Canada. 1:30 am.

Khushi was laying on her bed trying to sleep but sleep was far away. She is very happy that her family agrees for her admission in vfs but this is not the reason for her insomnia. She is feeling something different as if her life is going to change. Her life is going to take a new turn where she would be in her dream world. She is feeling inner pleasure. Happiness that cannot be descibed in words. She was relaxed. But she ignored her feelings and went back to sleep as the next day comes up with lots of work to do.

Mumbai, 9:00 am

Dining table.

All four members are sitting on the table nd having their breakfast silently. Anaya was continuously glancing at arnav to know what he had decided. This dnt went unnoticed by all the family members. Arnav was smirking within himself by teasing Anaya and irritating her by not paying attention. Finally he decided to stop this play of hide and seek and unveil his decision.

Arnav- annie i know you want to be a director and u chose vfs for it. But u also know that i love u alott anddd..

Before he could finish annie thought that he don't want her to go so she made a sad face and said

Its ok bhai.. I too love u alot and ur decision is final. If u dnt want me to go there i won't think about out it. Saying this she tried to hide her tears between a small gloomy smile.

Arnav- well i was thinking of sending the acceptance letter to vfs for ur course but if you don't want to...

Anaya- what??? What did u say? ( in shoked state)

Arnav- I was thinking of acceptance letter for you but if you don't want to go

After listening this anaya immediately hugged him. Thanks bhai.. Thanks alott.. You are the best.

The dining area is now filled with joy and happiness. Annie hugged her parents. Arnav was sad of the thought of sending his princess away from him but he was feeling happiness in his heart. A feeling of relaxation as if his some dreams is going to come true. He bashed up his thoughts.

Arnav- Annie when are your classes going to start.

Anaya- bhai they are starting on 22 october. Orientation is on 15 . So we need to be there by 10th or so.

Arnav- okk so we have almost 15 days to go.

Anaya and khushi started with the preprations for their new year ahead. Annie got busy ib shopping and packing while arnav was busy in arranging accomodation for annie and him. He decided to buy a small bunglow in canada near campus as he knew that canada would now become his second home till annie is in vfs. Khushi got busy in her shopping and other formalities. But their feelings didn't change. They were feeling pleasure and happiness in their heart.

Time went by and the day of orientation arrived.
